The Mississippi Recycling Coalition (MRC) Will be announcing plans for the School Recycling Program later this year. In the past MRC has offered up to $10,000 in grants to schools to support new or expanding recycling programs. Both $500 and $1,000 grants are available to public and private K-12 schools in Mississippi. The deadline for submitting applications will be announced in the Fall of 2024.
This grant program supports the mission of MRC, a non-profit organization that works to promote and grow recycling efforts in the state. Many of these grants spur recycling not only in the school but in the broader community.
Once the Grant Program is announced, public and private K-12 schools in Mississippi can APPLY ONLINE for the 2024-2025 school year awards.
Deadline
The Application deadline for the next year’s school recycling grants will be announced in the coming months. Mailed applications should be postmarked by that date; emailed applications should be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Also, please note guidelines and instructions below.
